"PEOPLE FROM THE PAST"
Virginians throughout history interpreted by
Mark Greenough
Since 1980 I have researched and presented many
historical characters, often based on actual
people in the historical records. Below is a
partial list of these characters, arranged under
chronological headings. Please note that additional
characters are available, including non-Virginians
involved with Virginia history. Descriptive
summaries of these and other role-playing presentations
are available, describing themes each person
from the past can speak about as an eyewitness
to important events. All characters appear in
accurate historical attire with props. "Conversations"
typically last from 30 minutes to one hour and
can include active questioning from the audience.
